Multiguard In-depth Type D (MITD)

MULTIGUARD IN-DEPTH Type D is a state-of-the-art, single-component, penetrating cementitious waterproofing material designed to protect new or existing structurally sound concrete and masonry from water and waterborne chemical penetration. Chemically similar to Type B but less potent, it is ideal for areas with low to moderate hydrostatic pressure and can serve as a cost-effective second coat to Multiguard In-Depth Type B. This gray or white crystalline formulation penetrates deep into the concrete, reacting with unhydrated cement particles and moisture to form permanent crystals within the concrete matrix, effectively sealing it from within. Once applied—either from the positive or negative side onto a damp substrate—it remains permanently active, requires only a one-time application for the life of the structure, and is approved for use with potable water. Its user-friendly, easy-to-apply nature makes it an efficient and durable waterproofing solution.
